Rear Admiral Harry Harris, commander of Joint Task Force Guantanamo, said six prisoners were slightly injured in fighting as US guards put down the unrest on Thursday. Harris said in a telephone press conference from Guantanamo there were two real suicide attempts at the camp on Thursday before the 'ruse' was staged. US guards were carrying out a cell-to-cell search in the camp when 'a detainee was observed preparing to hang himself. A quick reaction force was sent to the compound,' Harris said.
